Women, infants & children (WIC)

What is WIC?

WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC provides the following at no cost: healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support, and referrals for health care.

How do I apply for WIC?

To apply for WIC, you need to contact the WIC Program’s Call Center

Click here for a center direction or call 404-508-7777

The Call Center will give you a date and time for a WIC certification visit. At this visit, proof of income, residence, and ID must be provided for each applicant. Once the applicant has been determined income eligible, a nutrition assessment, conducted by a Nutritionist, will establish each applicant’s nutritional status. Eligibility will be declared the day of the visit.
