Injury Prevention

The Injury Prevention Program addresses the causes of injuries and injury-related deaths.

The initiatives include:

• Providing child safety seat checks, training caregivers on proper seat installation and offering free seats to eligible families.
• Working with partner agencies to identify and reduce the risk factors that lead to vehicle-related injuries among drivers, passengers and pedestrians.
