Board of Health Announces Indigenous Peoples’ Day Hours

DECATUR, Ga. – In celebration of the Indigenous Peoples’ Day holiday, the DeKalb County Board of Health’s offices and regional health centers will be closed on Monday, however, COVID-19 testing and COVID-19 vaccine will be available for community members.

COVID-19 testing in the parking lot of Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church and the North DeKalb Health Center is available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., and will be unaffected by the holiday.

COVID-19 vaccine will be available through CORE, in the parking lot of the North DeKalb Health Center on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Registration is required. To register, visit

Registration is required for COVID-19 testing.
