In DeKalb County only 51% of adults engage in the recommended amount of physical activity: 30 minutes of moderate activity five days a week, or 20 minutes of vigorous activity three days a week. As a result, 35% of DeKalb County adults are overweight and 22% of DeKalb County adults are obese.
