Free Personalized On-site Food Safety Training

Food safety education is all about you!

We provide free on-site training to food service establishment operators in DeKalb County. This training is tailored to your operation. The focus is on the repeated risk factor violations cited in your health inspections. The training allows the health educator to see firsthand your operations and employees’ behavior so the educator can make suggestions to avoid violations. Minimizing risk factors will reduce the chances of foodborne illness outbreaks and the need for legal action.

To request on-site food safety training, complete the on-site training registration form.

Submit the form by email to dekalb.eh@dph.ga.gov or in person at: Environmental Health, Suite 320, 445 Winn Way, Decatur, Ga. 30030.
