SIDS Workshop for Child Care Providers Child care providers can learn how to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome at an informative workshop on Saturday, October 18. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome or "SIDS" is the abrupt death of an infant under one year of age that remains unexplained after a thorough investigation. The workshop will be from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the Bohan auditorium of the DeKalb County Board of Health's Richardson Health Center, located at 445 Winn Way in Decatur (near DeKalb Medical Center). There is a $5 registration fee. Both day care center staff and private providers are welcome. All participants will receive five Georgia Department of Human Resources approved contact hours toward licensure requirements. For more information, please contact Rhonda
