HIV and AIDS services

Ryan White Early Care Clinic fees >>
The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) causes Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). About half of the people with HIV develop AIDS within 10 years of being infected. Even though HIV is a serious infection, people with HIV and AIDS are now living longer, healthier lives thanks to improved medical care and other services.

Living with HIV can be a challenge
Receiving word that you have HIV infection can bring some unsettling moments. There will be questions that need answers. That’s why we are here.

If you are living with HIV or AIDS, you may need several kinds of support — medical, emotional and financial.

Meeting your needs is our top priority
The DeKalb County Board of Health’s Ryan White Early Care Clinic is staffed to help meet your needs. The team of experts – physician, nurse, psychiatrist, dentist, dental hygienist, social workers and counselors – work together to provide quality services to persons with HIV.

In 2001 the Early Care Clinic celebrated its tenth anniversary as the premier provider of HIV services in DeKalb County. The DeKalb County Board of Health leads the way with the latest information about HIV.
